Westfourstreet Commissioned To Rebrand Milton Keynes Museum
It’s been well documented that we are passionate advocates of all things Milton Keynes, especially when it comes to the arts & culture of our city.
So it is with huge delight and excitement that we can announce that westfourstreet have been commissioned to undertake the rebranding of Milton Keynes Museum.
The rebranding will cover all aspects of the museum’s digital presence, from print design through to the website design.
The partnership coincides with work beginning on the Museum’s £7million expansion – which will see major new galleries tell the story of Milton Keynes from pre-history right through to the modern day. Building of the new galleries is due to begin in 2017, the year MK celebrates its 50th anniversary since designation as a new city.
The Rebranding Process
Our work on the rebranding has already begun and should you happen to wander into our office you’ll no doubt see the number of mood boards in place as we explore various different ideas to shape the project. In addition to this, we have spent long periods of time on-site at the museum. Observing and really trying to capture what makes it such a magical experience for all those who visit. We view these visits as being an essential part of the rebrand process.
We’re incredibly grateful to Museum Director Bill Griffiths for allowing us behind the scenes to immerse ourselves in the museum and witnessing first hand how it all comes together.
Bill had this to say:
We’re really looking forward to working with westfourstreet on this exciting new chapter in the Museum’s life. Milton Keynes Museum belongs to the whole of the city and its especially pleasing to see the next generation of movers and shakers coming on board and sharing our passion for telling the story of Milton Keynes, past, present and future.
